Judging History
I began judging in the WBA during the Fall 2007 season. Aside from the WBA, I also have the privilege to work with other pageantry organizations like: CCGC (San Jose), CVGPC (Modesto), SJVCGPR (Fresno), PPAACC (Bakersfield), and NCBA (Northern California).

Teaching History
From 2002-2006, I was a part of the Concord Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps organization. I served as a front ensemble instructor for the 'A' and 'C' corps, as well as the percussion caption head/arranger and program coordinator, for the division II finalist 'B' corps.

Aside from my Blue Devils experience, I have also arranged and/or instructed for such organizations as: The Yokohama Scouts Drum Corps (Yokohama, Japan), Soka Renaissance Vanguard JR. Drum Corps (Tokyo, Japan), The Freelancers Indoor Percussion Ensemble (Sacramento, CA), and The San Francisco Renegades SR. Drum Corps (San Francisco, CA). This is along with an extensive amount of work with high school marching bands and winter percussion ensembles.

Performing History
I have been performing music around the San Francisco, Bay Area music scene since 1996 (most often as a drum set player). Such performance venues include: local symphonies, musical orchestra pits, big bands, funk-rock and reggae bands, jazz quartets, and various churches. My drum corps experience is with the 1998 Blue Devils ‘B’.

Music Education & degrees
I previously attended Los Medanos College, and studied music under the superior direction of John Maltester and Michael Zilber.
As a percussionist I have had the pleasure to learn from great musicians such as: Scott Johnson, Mike Nevin, Tom Hemphill, Alan Hall, Raul Rekow, and Derrek Phillips.

I hold a BS in Counseling-Psychology from William Jessup University, and am currently a graduate student at Fuller Theological Seminary. My hope is to pursue a vocation as a prison chaplain.
