Lorraine Kohagen has been an Adjudicator for over 20 years. She recently received the Distinguished Member Award from the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association, in addition to being a featured presenter and clinician for their annual judges training for the past 15 years. She also travels across the country to judge marching band and winter guard contests. Lorraine lives in Santa Clarita, California with her husband Kevin and son Dylan, who are both musicians.
Lorraine has been instructing the color guard at Valencia High School in Santa Clarita, CA since 2008. Since Lorraine began at Valencia, the program has been quite successful, winning several sweepstakes and first place trophies, in addition to four High Auxiliary titles at SCSBOA Field Band Championships, and medaling for the past six years at WGASC Championships.
Most recently, Lorraine has become the Color Guard Director at the newly opened Castaic High School in Southern California
